HEAVENLY STEM JI and EARTHLY BRANCH MAO, 1. The element of Heavenly Stem Ji , is like garden soil. We can say that this is a Garden Soil in Mid Spring. The element of Earthly Branch Moa ,is the rabbit zodiac and it is the element of wood. ABOUT THIS PILLAR 2. A pillar consits of a Heavely Stem and a Earthly Branch, ie this month of Ji Mao is a Pillar. This is a destructive pillar. Mao, Wood attacks Ji, Earth. Moa (Rabbit) is the direction East, belongs to Zhen Trigram. Zhen is also the figure of Eldest Son. Ji Earth is like garden soil which allows the growth and provides life in this earth. HEAVENLY STEM JI 3. Ji and Jia combined. That is to say that Ji is able to attract Jia . If in your Bazi, there is a Jia , which you need to strenthen your bazi, then it is not auspicious, and vice versa. Ji also weaken the Bing and Ding , yang fire and yin fire respectively. EARTHLY BRANCH MAO 4. Mao, is the No. 4 in Chinese Zodiac. It is the Rabbit. Rabbit belongs to the grouping of the 4 Flower of Romance. Coincidently, Rabbit is also the Flower of Romance star for Tiger year. Those who were born in the year of rabbit may experience strong romance for this month. 5. Mao, Rabbit attract Pig and Goat to form a strong wood frame. Mao wood dry up water. Tiger, Mao and Dragon also form a strong Wood frame. Mao and Dog form wood. CONCLUSION 6. It will not be a peaceful month. Since wood attacks earth, earth is weaken, and Mao is also at the Zhen Trigram, there will be shakening effects. Earth Quake !. Month’s Elements - Ji Mao Month

5th Jan 2010 from 1900 hrs onward, we welcome in the new month of Yin Fire and Yin Earth. Coincidently, the month is a duplicate of Year Branch Earth Ox. OX MONTH 2oo9 is Ji Chou year, it will double the effect of ox especially in the month of ox. In the year of Ox, an element of Earth; it represent farming, property, building industry,mineral, and jewelries industries. All these industries are expected to achieve it height of harvest. However, at the same time, what reaches it height will be expected to slide. Coming to the end of double Ox , these industries are expect to slide or faced a down-turn point. Since it is just a begining of Ox month and ending of the Ox year, it is wise for these industries to quickly take profits and do not wait for good opportunity, it may turn out to be a risk! METAL INDUSTRIES In the month of Ox, Metal related industries; steel, hardwares and machineries etc. These industries can expect a boom, and also can expect a risk of down-turn. Do not take risk, take profit in the early stages of the month. WATER INDUSTRIES In the month of Ox, water related industries, due to the protected of the Earth Ox, can expect a booming month. The effect will be lost with the fading of Ox month and year. WOOD INDUSTRIES Wood related industries, due to strong earth energy, it will be at a stage of weakness. Wood industries can take this opportunity to consolidate it energy and strike when Spring arrive. FIRE INDUSTRIES Fire industies can expect a not so good time due to the strong earth. Yin Fire Stem and Yin Earth Branch

Dear Readers, The Month of Yin Water and Yin Metal don’t seem to be a peaceful month after all. At the Pacific and S.E Asia region we see tsurami and earth quake and typhoon. Could it be the Star 9 and 7 are creating havoc ? We hope that the month of Yang Wood and Yang Earth will bring us harmony and peace to the world. 8th Oct 09 at 1215 hrs to 7th Nov 09 at 1509 hrs, the new month is of Heaven Stem; Yang Wood ; Earthly Branch; Yang Earth . This month also see Flying Star 6 white in the central palace. See the month chart. 1. Earthly Branch of Xu , which in the chinese zodiac is dog, this is a Yang Earth element. Earth give birth to Metal; it controls water. Is this earthly branch of Yang Earth strong? I should say yes. Yes because this year Ji Chou are earth which strength (give weight)to earth. That is to say, this is a strong Earth Month. Bazi Day Master is Water will not want a strong earth; meaning it will add strong pressure to the water DM. For those whose DM is water, it is time to take a break from work! 2.Yang Earth Dog clashes with Dragon . This is a month breaker for those born in the year of Dragon. That is to say do not engange or make important decision in this month; 8th Oct to 7th Nov 09. Yang Wood, Yang Earth Month

Good Feng Shui means you have a balance of the five elements that compose the earth. Coversely, it also involves not having these elements overpower each other. Now, how do we really go about that? The basic principle on Feng Shui is heavily anchored on the five elements of the earth. In an ideal system, the five elements complement each other in a form of life cycle. If the environment fosters this positive nature that balances the five elements of the earth, then prosperity and good luck may not be far off.

Ideal System

The ideal system is where water produces wood, wood yields fire, and fire fashions the earth. Then, the earth forms the metal and the metal consequently produces the water. The overbearing and ugly system is when the elements contradict each other: wood burdens earth, fire destroys metal, earth hampers water, or water kills the fire. If you are able to see the visual properties of these elements, you may find that these arrangements prescribed by Feng Shui also make practical sense, even if you do not necessarily dig the concepts and foundations of Feng Shui.

Earth

You don’t have to be a geologist to understand good Feng Shui for earth. Earth is generally composed of ceramics and rocks. If you want a happy home, you must have a good dose of rocks and ceramics strategically placed in tune with the other elements that are present in your home. Lacking in earth, you may find yourself filled with instability and resilience that the earth is generally known for.

Metal

Electronic devices can actually have good feng shui as well. They are under the metal category, which not just brings in the technological advancements of this age but also the toughness brought about by metal materials in the different elements of Feng Shui. Make sure that metal is not colliding with fire elements, and this may even hold a practical significance because you wouldn’t want any of your electronic devices to catch fire!

Water

Zen fountains and the like form the water aspect of Feng Shui. Just ensure that water complements your metal. Overpowering your home with electronic appliances may actually appeal to the gadget junkie but not to the Feng Shui aficionado. Aside from the fact that water balances metal, you may also find that it has visual appeal if a person finds a Zen fountain in the midst of a sea of gadgets in the home which may be cool in function but not in appearance.

Fire

Candles and fireplaces are good examples of fire elements in Feng Shui. It may appear weird to put a fountain beside a fireplace for it contradicts that purpose, but many a movie had background sets with a fireplace and wooden furniture that is well ideal for a night of romance. Too much fire can actually drown the environment, so be very careful when lighting your environment. In business settings, it may also be advisable to tame down the effects of fire in the office. But it can be more unleashed in the personal setting, especially in romantic ones.

Wood

Wood is abundant in many places. Wooden furniture remain to be vintage to the Feng Shui expert. And this does not have to be only in the form of wooden furniture. Just by cultivating a garden in your home, you will be able to bring in a lot of wood that can help you balance the different elements.
